“Noblesse oblige” – a winged expression, in English sounding like “origin obliges” or “nobility obliges”, takes its origin from medieval knightly etiquette.

The motto “Noblesse oblige” means that the noble ancestors by their deeds left to their descendants not only a high status, but also a set of rules limiting the behavior of the Man of Honor, giving both privileges and full responsibility for them. Examples of this concept we find from the time of the ancient heroes of the Iliad of Homer.
