M8L8TH/NEZHEGOL – “WotanJugend” (2011)

M8L8TX/Nezhegol’s release “WotanJugend” was the starting point of a meta-cultural project of the same name. The split was recorded during 2010, a difficult time for M8L8TX, when the band’s leader was a prisoner of the system. Despite the fact that the whole musical and poetic component was created by Alexey, he didn’t directly participate in the recording, and the role of vocalist was taken by another performer. The work was experimental and is perhaps out of the project’s discography, but it is an important representation of those days of the band’s crossroads.

This split album is the result of the creative and ideological union between M8L8TH and Nezhegol, established on the album “Unshakeable Faith”, where Alexander (Nezhegol) performed some vocal parts. What followed was a two-year lull and languid waiting of fans, after which the album saw the light of day on the Lost Reich Records label. Musically, the “WotanJugend” release is a mix of genres – from NSBM, to Pagan Metal and RAC.

..To the White Wolf and the Knight, To the Hope of bygone times,
To the Sign of the Born and the Chosen on the blazing colors of the Banner…
